Picture Time!

Here are just a few random pictures I took over the week. Poor Kara is always getting pictures taken of her, especially when she has a cute outfit on! Kara had her 2 month appt last Tuesday. Everything is great and she weighs 12 pounds and 15 oz and 24 inches long, so she's growing just fine! She had to get a bunch of shots which wasn't fun to watch but she did pretty good considering, probably better than Mommy did!

Lots of Family Time!

We made another trip up north last weekend for a wedding and a Bylsma reunion. We had a very busy long weekend but we really enjoyed it. Kara did great for the most part! The reunion was at Lake Tulloch and lets just say I didn't get much sun, we placed ourselves right under a shady tree to avoid giving Kara a sunburn. Things are little bit different these days when you have a little one. Kara got to see Mya while we were up there which is so fun. They are so cute together.

Kara is 2 months old today, where did the time go? We are really starting to see her personality. We can usually get her to smile pretty quick but she can also turn on you real quick. She is quite temperamental at times and we have learned she would rather just lay by herself then be held sometimes! Tom says she gets that from me but I beg to differ! She is really focusing on things too, I found out yesterday that she was quite entertained staring at the pendulum of a clock ticking along with ceiling fans. It's so amazing how fast they change.

Baptism

On Sunday we had Kara's Baptism. It was a great service and Kara did so well, she never made a sound. She looked so adorable in her little dress!

Smiles!

I finally got a cute picture of Kara smiling. They are starting to come a lot easier now but the camera is not always quick enough to capture them! We feel like we are finally getting a little routine at home. She still wakes up about twice during the night but it's always about the exact same time each night. I realized it's not worth carting her around everywhere I go so Tom is getting more opportunities to watch her but he's convinced she doesn't like him that much. He's had a bad experience with her screaming the whole time while I left to get groceries! She does love her Mommy! So the goal of the week is to get her to take the bottle good but she has made it very clear to us that she doesn't like it!
